Copperends
I don't have any business connection to these places other than being a happy customer or member if it's a forum. I hope it's a place for you to start, if you need one. Happy wrapping!

Wire

Twisted Jewels carries the this wires I use in gold filled, and have very good prices. I love the free shipping on orders of $20 or more! The customer response is personal and fast, and so was the shipping.

Monster Slayer has wire, beads, findings, tools. I've ordered from them for years, and always get my orders filled quickly. I love their simple site, and easy ordering.

Rock

Arizona Lapidary is a small couple run business of true and tried rockhounds, Jamie and Rodney. They find rocks that you really CAN'T find anywhere else, because they dig much of it up themselves. If you love the Southwestern blues, they are the only source in my mind for chrysocolla and shattukite. They also offer beautiful designer cabs and all kinds of wonderful rock, and more!

Want to virtually hand out with other rockhounds? Rock Tumbling Hobby forums is the place to be! All things rock, such as tumbling, slabbing, tools, places to find rock, as well as the friendliest, most generous souls around.

Consolidated Rock & Mineral Shop is a place in Vacaville, California. It's a huge, open metal building along Hwy 80 that is filled with treasure everywhere you turn. They have two warehouses full of various rock, mineral and fossil specimens. I spend hours there! The address is 5115 Quinn Rd
Vacaville, CA 95688
(707) 448-5525

Sam Silverhawk is a master of stone. His cabachons are pieces of art by themselves. His eye is flawless, and his cabs in high demand by many jewelers.

Jewelry tutorials

Jewelry Lessons is filled with tutorials for all levels. Submitted by jewelers themselves, there are hundreds here to explore. Some are even free! It has jewelry of all kinds, not just wire wrapping. It also has articles, forums, and more.

This is where I learned the very involved wire wrapping. Remy is an Australian artist, and she only has 8 tutorials, but they are where I started. Well worth it! Clear, and filled with clear photographs at every step.

Eni Oken is the inspiration for many wrappers that use fine, fine wire. This site of hers isn't updated, but it's still full of information and galleries of her work.

Inspiration

www.metalworkers.org  The artists here opened my eyes to the possibilities. They inspired me then, and continue to now.
